Are you a child care provider looking to offer
nutritious snacks and meals?
Want your child to benefit from good nutrition
while in child care?
We assist family child care providers to serve nutritious meals and snacks that appeal to children. The Child Care Food Program:
Benefits the Family Child Care Provider - Providers receive reimbursements for meals and snacks, receive valuable nutrition education and resources, and can access assistance and referrals on operating a quality business.
Benefits the Child - Good nutrition during the early years ensures kids are healthy, happy and growing strong physically, emotionally and intellectually.
Benefits the Parents - Parents know that their children are served high quality meals and healthy children means less absence from work.
Benefits the Community - Added revenue for providers helps keep child care affordable for working families.
During the week over 2,000 children receive nutritious meals
thanks to CVCAC's Child Care Food Program.
Last year, our Child Care Food Program helped put over $900,000 into the pockets of child care providers through meal and snack reimbursements.
