Community Economic Development

Our Community Economic Development initiatives can help you take steps towards financial security and prosperity while we grow our local communities together!

We can provide you with opportunities and resources to start or grow a small business, purchase a first-time home, provide healthier meals to kids in child care, develop successful savings and financial habits, repair and build healthy credit, and much more.

Vermont Women's Business Center
Counseling, training, and networking opportunities for women statewide to achieve business success.

Individual Development Accounts
Matched savings and financial literacy education to help families build financial assets.

Child Care Food Program
Meal reimbursements to child care providers who serve nutritious meals and snacks.

Community Capital of Vermont
Financing and additional assistance to businesses in Vermont that do not yet meet all the requirements for traditional bank financing.

Credit Building and Financial Services
Counseling, workshops and tools to build your personal finances.
